Lifeplus Health Centers helps a lot of folks from the Lynnwood community who are injured at work. According to the National Safety Council, the most usual kind of work injury is musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), which involves trauma to the muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments and joints. MSDs account for more than one third of all workplace accidents.
The most common type of MSD is a strain, which is an injury to a muscle or tendon. Strains can be caused by lifting, pushing or pulling too much weight, or by repetitive movements. Other common MSDs include carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis and back issues.
These injuries can be stopped by using proper lifting techniques, taking several breaks and using ergonomic tools. Employers can also help put a stop to injuries by providing their employees educational data on preventing them.
Back discomfort and injuries are a usual problem that Lifeplus Health Centers sees in our #Ciyt# office and we also work with men and women who have shoulder or neck problems.
If you have suffered a work injury or accident and live in the Lynnwood region, give Lifeplus Health Centers a call and make an appointment today. We will work with you to create a treatment plan that will help you get relief and do our best to get you back on the job as fast as we can!
