Faster Work Injury Recovery with Chiropractic Adjustments

Lynnwood Chiropractic Adjustments Helps Reduce Missed Days at Work

Lifeplus Health Centers helps a lot of folks from the Lynnwood community who are injured at work. According to the National Safety Council, the most usual kind of work injury is musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), which involves trauma to the muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments and joints. MSDs account for more than one third of all workplace accidents.

The most common type of MSD is a strain, which is an injury to a muscle or tendon. Strains can be caused by lifting, pushing or pulling too much weight, or by repetitive movements. Other common MSDs include carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis and back issues.

These injuries can be stopped by using proper lifting techniques, taking several breaks and using ergonomic tools. Employers can also help put a stop to injuries by providing their employees educational data on preventing them.
